Bei der Pressekonferenz zur Gamescom 2012 hat Sony das Cross Buy Feature vorgestellt. Das bedeutet, wer sich beispielsweise PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale für die PlayStation 3 kauft, bekommt die PS Vita-Version kostenlos. Das Cross Buy Feature gilt auch für Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time, Ratchet and Clank Q Force. Neu ist Cross Buy nicht, schon für WipEout 2048 gab es Cross Buy erstmals. Sony plant das Feature in Zukunft aber noch intensiver zu nutzen.
