]]> Wie Capcom im hauseigenen Blog bekannt gab, soll Breath of Fire III noch im Februar im amerikanischen PlayStation Network veröffentlicht werden. Das Spiel, einst erschienen für Sonys PlayStation Portable, wird nicht portiert. Allerdings ist es auf allen Geräten spielbar, die PSP-Inhalte aus dem PlayStation Network abspielen können. Dazu zählen neben PSP auch PlayStation Vita und PlayStation TV. Capcom plant einen Preis von 9,99 US-Dollar. In Europa ist Breath of Fire III schon längst im PlayStation Store erhältlich.
